Time to share some photo progress. I still see things that need improvement--ok lots of them. But I also do see the progress I am making. So here is a picture from January, when i did my very first boot camp: And now from June: The best part is that others outside my family are noticing changes for the positive. But really, truthfully beyond the physical aspects is the changes internally. I am still having days and moments where the joy is robbed from me for so many reasons, but I am feeling like those times are happening less and less. I am having less times when I am uncomfortable in my own skin. Less times when I am uncomfortable in a crowd and among those who love me, the real me. I am a work in progress still, a whole big mess, but a work in progress. Now to continue on my path to self recovery and to find the real me inside and let her out more and trust in others. Amazing how one journey to fitness has helped me discover the missing pieces in my life emotionally!

Here are my results for May. Now I did gain 0.8 pounds according the scale at the gym, but I am losing inches overall which is much, much, much more important. Working hard on the lower belly area and I can tell and so can others that I am toning up the midsection. Now to keep doing the workouts for the lower ab--have I mentioned I am not a fan of those? Now to just keep up my progress! So it has been entirely too long since I sat down and blogged. I will try to make it a habit to post here at least monthly. So I started this journey several years ago. Things have gone on. Life has happened. And I have stopped and started back up on my fitness journey. I will just pick up where I am now. So this past August I finally took the plunge and joined the gym. The boys and I have a membership to our local Star Athletic Club. I started out just taking some group fitness classes. I have now enjoyed Piyo, Turbo-kick (kickboxing with aerobics), Cardio Core Fit (mix of circuits and cardio), Tabata (circuits), Pole Fitness 101, Yoga with 3 different instructors who all have their own wonderful spin, country Heat, and Cize. Then I added to that crazy mix boot camp. Never fear I do not do all of these classes every week, but someday I may :) I took part in my first boot camp in January and then took a 2 month break from boot camp and concentrated on the classes. Then March rolled a...
